Donate in Memory

DonateMemory
Donating or fundraising in memory of someone is a very special and meaningful way to remember them, honouring their life and helping others at the same time.  We are always incredibly touched and grateful to receive donations in memory of those special to you.
You can honour someone special in the following ways:
Make a donation in their name.
As you make your donation, you   can    tell us the name of this special person and if you like, you can also tell us more about why you are donating.
Collect at a funeral or memorial.

Collecting donations at a funeral can help Food Train to make a lasting difference in memory of your loved one. You might choose to do this by asking for donations instead of flowers. You can also hold a collection at celebration of life services and memorial events. We have a range of materials to help:
• Our collection envelopes allow people to add Gift Aid, increasing each donation by £2.50 for every £10 donated at no cost to them.
• Our Food Train pin badges are a lovely thank you and memento.
• Our collection boxes provide another easy way to donate.
If you would like to send the proceeds of a collection made in memory of someone by post, you should make cheques payable to Food Train, Hestan Southwest, The Crichton, Bankend Road, Dumfries, DG1 4TA

Take on a fundraising challenge.

Gathering your friends and family together for a memory walk, picnic or challenge, can be a really special way to honour someone who has passed away. Or simply directing people towards an online giving page, where they can share messages and show their support, might feel like the right thing to do. How you choose to fundraise will be very personal to you, but we can help with ideas about what other people have found rewarding and appropriate for their family and help you decide what's right for you. If you have any questions about donating in memory of someone, holding a collection, or wanting to fundraise you can get in touch with us  at This email address is being protected from spambots.
