Volunteering with Food Train is both rewarding and good fun. It's a great way to get out and see our beautiful region while meeting new people and helping the more vulnerable members of our community. Our volunteers are all ages and abilities and come from all possible walks of life.

Volunteers work from their local branch base undertaking a variety of jobs on a schedule to suit their individual needs and availability. Their time is a precious gift to us and we aim to make the most of any time given to us.

Food Train offers a supportive environment for people to volunteer whatever their reason for volunteering, so if you are trying to get back to work or have additional support needs, then we might be the right place for you!

No previous experience or specific skills are needed to volunteer and all newcomers are offered a trial period with support. We also offer a variety of training opportunities.

If you have some time to spare, even just a day a month, and would like to be more actively involved in your community, thegive us a call on 01382 459202  or email us HERE.

Volunteers must be over 16 and undergo a Disclosure Scotland check. Travel expenses are available. Food Train welcomes diversity and fully supports equal opportunities.
