The Food Train is a local voluntary and charity organisation, which provides a grocery shopping
home delivery service for the elderly, housebound and disabled people, across Dumfries and Galloway. The Food Train is funded
by Dumfries and Galloway Council and NHS Dumfries & Galloway.

Healthy Working Lives Bronze Award Success
Following a year of focusing on the health
of our staff and volunteers we were delighted to receive news of our success at Bronze Level of the Healthy Working Lives
programme. We collected our award from Public Health Minister Shona Robison MSP at a ceremony in Edinburgh.
Stranraer gets new town office
The Stranraer Area Branch volunteers got the keys to their nice new
town centre office on 3rd March and are already settled in and feeling quite at home. Hopefully this new location will
encourage more people to call in and find out more about the service in Stranraer.
